Owner and founder Mr.Yousef Al Shanfari started from humble beginnings as a local fisherman. With a dream to provide a service to the up and coming tourism industry in Salalah Oman. 2012 he opened his first operations in Hawana Marina and established Around the Ocean. Starting with only one 35ft Royal Craft boat, he very quickly worked his way up the corporate ladder by increasing his fleet of boats annually. Creating work opportunities for staff that comes from all over the world.

Currently in 2022, Mr. Yousef Al Shanfari has a fleet of 18 boats and still growing. Providing excursions that cater for both tourists and professional fishermen.

Mr. Yousef Al Shanfari this has been a dream starting from his humble beginnings, to create a service and to take part in the ever growing Salalah Tourism industry. However, his dream has grown so much more over the years and expanded into arias of human resources and research conscious.
